Metamizole Sodium Tablets

Metamizole is a medicine that belongs to the group of pyrazolones (based on the chemical structure). This medicine have an analgesic effect (relieves / reduces pain) and antipyretic effect (reduces fever). Because of such effect metamizol is used in the treatment of severe pain: tumors, after surgery, after injuries and for the treatment of fever when other medicines do not help. It is not used for treatment of mild pain (toothache, headache, menstrual pain). Metamizol is more and more withdrawing from use because of its dangerous side effects, especially agranulocytosis (large reductions of blood leukocyte count).
